Program-Specific Accreditation and Authorization
In addition to institutional accreditation through the Higher Learning Commission, specific CCC programs hold authorization or accreditation from professional and regulatory bodies in their fields. These recognitions confirm that individual programs meet the standards required for professional practice, licensure, and employment in their respective industries.

Health Sciences
Arizona Board of Nursing (AZBN) The Arizona Board of Nursing regulates nursing and related programs throughout the state.
- Registered Nursing (RN) Program — Approved through February 2030
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program — Approved through August 2027
Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) CCC’s Nursing program is a candidate for initial accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing effective August 2, 2024.
American Medical Technologists (AMT) AMT has partnered with educational institutions to certify healthcare professionals since 1939.
- Medical Assistant Program — Authorized through December 31, 2028
- Medical Office Management Program — Authorized through December 31, 2028
Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) Confirm current CAAHEP program authorization details with Academic Affairs before publishing.
Emergency Medical Services
CCC’s EMT and Paramedicine programs prepare students for the following nationally recognized certifications:
- National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) — EMT Certificate prepares students for the National Registry exam and Arizona EMT certification
- Arizona Department of Health Services — Paramedic Studies program prepares students for Arizona paramedic certification
- EPA 609 — Automotive HVAC refrigerant certification
- OSHA 10 General Industry — Workplace safety certification
Automotive Technology
CCC’s Automotive Technology programs prepare students for the following industry certifications:
- ASE G1 Auto Maintenance and Light Repair — Prepared through Level II coursework
- EPA 609 Mobile Air Conditioning — Completed after AUT 110
- OSHA 10 General Industry — Available in hybrid format
Computer Information Systems
CCC’s Computer Technology programs align with the following industry certifications:
- CompTIA A+ — Prepared through CIS 130
- CompTIA Network+ — Prepared through CIS 228
- CompTIA Security+ — Prepared through CIS 237
Early Childhood Education
CCC’s Early Childhood Education program aligns with Arizona Department of Education standards and prepares students for positions in licensed early childhood settings across the state.
