Senior Tuition Discount
Learning has no age limit
If you are 65 or older and an Arizona resident, you may qualify for CCC's Senior Citizen Tuition Waiver, which reduces your tuition by 50% on eligible credit classes. It is CCC's way of thanking community members who have supported the college and making lifelong learning accessible to everyone in Coconino County.
What the waiver Covers
The Senior Citizen Tuition Waiver reduces tuition by 50% on up to six credit hours per semester. The waiver does not cover:
- Non-credit classes
- Course fees
- Books and class materials
Who is eligible
To qualify for the Senior Citizen Tuition Waiver, you must:
- Be 65 years of age or older
- Be an Arizona resident eligible for in-state tuition
- Be a United States citizen or have lawful immigration status*
*Some CCC scholarships, waivers, and grants are funded in part or in whole with Arizona state monies and are governed by Arizona state law. They are not available to individuals who are not citizens of the United States and are without lawful immigration status.
How To Apply for the Senior Discount
How to Apply
- Complete the CCC admissions application
- Complete a domicile affidavit
- Register for your classes
- Complete and submit the Senior Citizen Tuition Waiver application to the Financial Aid office
Your application must be received prior to or during the semester for which you are requesting the waiver. You will need to provide proof of age when you submit your application.
