Transfer option
These courses are part of your Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC), which is the set of foundational courses that every Arizona public university requires for a bachelor’s degree. That means the English, literature and communications courses you take at CCC are not just electives. They may count toward your degree here and follow you when you transfer.
Composition courses are prerequisites for most other courses in this area. Before you move into literature, creative writing, or communications, you will need to complete ENG 101 and ENG 102.
Literature and Communications courses fulfill your Arts and Humanities AGEC requirements and may also fulfill special requirements for Intensive Writing, Ethnic and Race and Gender Awareness, and Contemporary Global or Historical Awareness.
